Currently in Philadelphia — November 10, 2023: Cold start to the weekend

Plus, an all-new Currently Weather Service launches next week!

The weather, currently.

Cold start to the weekend, but sun on the way

The 70-degree weather we had yesterday was a gift, but it’ll be the last warm one for a little while. I was stuck inside doing work, but I did enjoy the fifteen minutes of sun I got on my walk to the grocery store. Today will be much cooler, with a high of 53˚F. We’re also expecting a bit of rain, mostly in the afternoon, with more than 90% cloud cover and relative humidity in the low 60 percents. On the other hand, Saturday — Veterans’ Day — will be quite pretty. After I call my granddad to thank him for his service, I’m heading to the Delaware Water Gap and likely making a stop at the Lakota Wolf Preserve to see their adorable-yet-terrifying tenants.

What you need to know, currently.

It’s my great honor to announce that we have a big announcement coming next week.

The new Currently Weather Service is designed to be a complete re-imagination of what a weather service can be in the era of climate change. For us, this launch is at the heart and soul of what we want to do and what we stand for: timely, accurate and easy to understand weather information for everyone, everywhere.

This is a project that’s been in development for months and we’re finally ready to share it with the world.

And I can’t wait to share it with you first, next week.

What you can do, currently.
