Currently in Philadelphia — November 28, 2023: A rather blustery day

The weather, currently.

In the words of Winnie-the-Pooh, we’re in for a “rather blustery day”. Today’s high will be around 38˚F, a full 10 degree drop from yesterday. Watch out for higher winds as well, with an eastward breeze expected to blow steadily up 20 miles per hour with gusts even higher — up to 28 miles per hour. The resulting wind chills may lower the temperature into the mid-20s. Otherwise, you can expect a medium-sunny day with none of this weekend’s precipitation. A thick red sweater might be a good call, but unlike Pooh, I would recommend putting on some warm pants.

Currently’s new weather service is now live. In the weeks and months ahead, we’ll be continually adding more features and opening up more slots as we develop the service.

But for now, space is limited in the weather service because I want to make sure we can provide the highest quality service we possibly can while we work to refine the system with your input.
