Currently in Philadelphia — September 7, 2023: Chance of afternoon rain

Morning sun, with a chance of afternoon rain

While working from home for the past few days, I’ve been trying to go as long as I can without turning on my AC in the morning. So far I haven’t made it past 11am, and it looks like today will be another warm one. Temperatures are expected to reach 96˚F on Thursday, with lots of sun into the afternoon. But things could get a little wet after 2pm — a sneak preview of the rainstorms expected to come this weekend — so if you’re going into the office today, think about packing an umbrella for your commute home.
